ABOUT US

Valkyrie Firearm Training was establish to provide fast and efficient training for the person who wants to obtain a valid firearm license for self-defence, occasional hunting, occasional sport shooting and for the more active firearm owner like dedicated sport or hunting persons. We provide different means of training under the guide lines of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), and South African Professional Firearm Training Council (SAPFTC) Regulations.

To qualify for a proficiency certificate there is a Formative assessment necessary (the open book exam written at home) and a Summative assessment (close book exam in the class room). After both exams have been passed a shooting exercise is required where the safe handling of the firearm is tested (can the firearm be handled with strict regard for safety where a score of 10/10 must be reached).

We provide class room training as well to help with people that have learning, reading, writing or any other disability. This class helps to make sure that the law and theoretical side of the unit standard is fully and clearly understood by the learner. It also helps to complete the assessments that are necessary for the unit standards.

The proficiency shooting exercise is based on safety that must be done right. If the leaner needs help to prepare for the qualification shoot there is a class that can be provided to ensure that it is done right the first time.

We pride ourselves to help our clients till they are declared competent, as we have helping methods in place to assist our clients professionally and effectively.

FUTURE ENDEAVOURS

We strive to help our clients to make sure the process of obtaining a legal firearm license is painless and easy but really efficient, that will also make you a responsible firearm owner. Part of that, is to be more accessible for the public.
